Netbook Reflection

This year I have had more experience especially from my teacher, I now know how to use scratch and make my own game. This has been another amazing year using my netbook. Although my teacher has taught me a lot of stuff I have also taught myself how to do stuff

I really appreciate how you guys have let me use this device to discover new things.

This has been a pleasure to work with maniakalani. I have learnt heaps of digital lerning from my mates how to get around through things using proxy sites servers.

The thing I have learnt outside of school is how to change my keyboard settings  

I have gained more and more experience using this special device.

I have discover a lot of new

 

digital learning and learnt to be cyber smart around different sites. Big thumbs up to the maniakalani  crew with a big success on giving kids opportunities and bringing learning to and whole new level.

First Day Of School

 Waking up for the first day of school I searched up and down looking for my uniform. “Hurry up you're gonna be late for school” my mum said. Slipping off my T-shirt I quickly through my uniform on and dashed out the front door as if a lion was chasing its prey. “Get in the car you're a few minutes late” YAY were here I yelled with happiness,

 Closing the door, off I went holding my mums hand. Entering Pt England school all I could see is kids yelling and playing. “Have a great day I’ll see you at 3.00 PM” Going to my new class I felt nervous and scared.

Meeting new friends and my teacher Mrs Lau, nervously talking to my mates waiting for the morning tea bell to ring.

Even though she had been shot by the taliban for speaking the truth about girls education she still is fighting for equal rights. At the moment shes in England because her life is in much more danger and she is waiting for an occupation. The nominees will be announced at the end of October

40 minute writing

This morning we had 40 minutes to write about anything we wanted. From this we are going to set some writing goals for the term. Here is what I wrote.

Holidays.

Going to the pools I was excited to swim with my nephews. Looking through the glass window I saw my friend Brent. Waving and waving he begged for me to hop in. A few minutes later I walked through wet slopy water. Splash, in I went. “do you want a race” said brent, ummmm ok.On the countdown of 3 we swam from side to side. “yeah I bet you” replied brent.

Jack and Ray were at the rugby. Ray’s team was winning
so Jack decided to give Ray a problem to deflate his ego a
bit. So Jack said “Did you know that today is my three
sons’ birthday?” “How old are they?” Ray asked taking
the bite. “I’ll give you a hint. The product of their ages is
36 and the sum of their ages is 13,” Jack replied. “That’s
no help,” said Ray. So Jack weakened and gave him
another clue. “O.K. My youngest son is very naughty.”
“Nothing to it,” exclaimed Ray and he told Jack the
correct ages of his sons.

The Pizza Place in my town has three tables of the same size. The Chicken N Chips restaurant has four of the same sort of table.

The Chicken N Chips can just seat 24 people. How many people can The Pizza Place seat?

Now a third of the seats at The Chicken N Chips were empty and a half of the places at The Pizza Place were empty. If 18 more people wanted to eat out, how many would have to be turned away from the two restaurants?

Movie Reflection

I think max's movie was great because they were good at acting and they timed there singing and also there camera shots. I really liked there details they put into there movie, they didn't trace any of there backgrounds. I also liked there animation it was realistic, none of them were complex. The scenes flowed well with each other.

Studamyer Prospective Student

Struggling up a vertical mountain the boy slipped and left dangling with one arm. Gripping on the ledge he pulled himself up and continued climbing up the rocky mountain feeling exhausted. The boy was determined to reach his destination.

Arriving at the dojo gates he was nervous hoping to be accepted for the MMA. Anxiously knocking on the door the boy heard a squeak as the door open. As the sansei approached the door the boy bowed with fear.

The good looking sansei came out and pointed to the side and shut the door. Sitting down Matt meditated for all night and day. Feeling hopeful the boy did not know that the sensei came back in the morning. Again the sensei pointed to the side of the dojo and shut the door. The boy felt angry and kick the door down and demanded a fight. Then the sensei pointed to the side and then the student saw the sign and felt embarrassed

The Big Bad Pig

The Big Bad Pig  

Once there lived three little joyful wolves in a farm by a roaring waterfall. Everyday the little wolves would play in their backyard and watched the airplanes fly above their head. Across the waterfall lived the meanest pig. He was bad, mean, and terrible. He hated the three little wolves.

One day the mean pig cross the river and tried to catch the wolves. He stomped his way to the first little wolf’s house. It was made out of hay .”I will stomp and jump and knock your house down” Said the pig Not on the hairs on my chiny chin chin” said the smallest wolf. So the big mean pig stomped and jumped and knocked his house down. The smallest pig ran off to the second oldest wolves house. His house was made out of brick. “Come out come out little wolfs” Or I will stomp and jump and knock your house down”. “ Not on the hairs on my chiny chin chin” Said the too young wolfs.

So the pig stomped & jumped and knocked the second wolf’s house down. The two wolfs scattered off to the oldest wolfs house. The mean old pig chased the pigs. The two younger pigs ran into the big brother house it was made of steel. “Little wolf’s  little wolf's please come out”. Said the Pig “ Not on the hairs on my chiny chin chin”  said the the wolf’s. ”I will stomp and jump and knock your house down”.

So the pig stomped and jumped and did not knocked the house down. So the pig climbed to the top of the house and tried to get through by the chimney. The pig fell through the chimney and dropped into a hot boiling pot. After all the 3 joyful wolfs lived happily ever after and had pork for dinner.

Nemo, Stroy.

Underneath the deep blue sea, anxiously sitting on the rock, Marlin grouched. Slowly swimming up to Marlin, Dory happily tried to cheer him up. Hey Mr Grumpy Gills, When life gets you down you know what you gotta do? Dory giggled, “Come on what are you scared of?”

“I don’t want to know what you gotta do.” Mumbled Marlin sadly

Dory grabbed Marlin by the fin and slowly dragged him down to the dark depth ocean

“Just keep swimming, just keep swimming,  just keep swimming, swimming, swimming. “ sang Dory

“Dory please enough, no more singing. See now that song is stuck in my head”.   

The car stopped suddenly

 Walking out the door with excitement I quickly ran towards the car, I leapt in, and put the seatbelt on, just as the doors slammed, Slowly the engine started. Off the car went, “Finally I said in my head” driving through the darkness I was scared. Seeing a possum in the middle of nowhere on the road. Mum pulled the handbrake and the car stopped suddenly. Mum quickly stormed out and scared the possum away. Off it went scattering through the bushes. Jumping back in the car quickly, she drove off with happiness. And finally we arrived at our destination
